In Berlin Redux

UPDATE: There’s a date set for the opening reception. Thursday, February 4 from 6 to 8 at Seven Shores in Waterloo. Come by if you’ve got time!

Last night I hung by Berlin photos at Seven Shores in Waterloo. It’s more or less a continuation of the show I had at the KPL last October, with only three photos from the original show not in this one. I had also planned on having a few new shots in this one, but that didn’t pan out. I also made up some new postcards for the show which I may or may not have printed a few too many (in other words, take one!). I even have a little blurb in the current issue of Grand Magazine.

The café regularly displays the work of different artists so for the next couple of months my work will have a home there. If you’ve never been, I can’t recommend their food enough. Just last week they featured a Reuben sandwich that was probably one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. My friend Bryant nearly started a friendly competition on how many people could eat in one week; sadly I was only able to make it in for two. Worth it, though!

Anyway, I’ve gone off on a sandwich tangent. My work will be up until the middle of March so there’s plenty of time to stop by for a lunch (or three) and check out my photos. There’s an opening reception in the works that should be happening at the end of January. Stay tuned for show details!

In Berlin, Take Two

My exhibition, In Berlin, that was held at the KPL in October has found new life. My good friends at Seven Shores in Waterloo have rotating art shows on their walls and I’m pretty thrilled to have the show back up in a new location. I’m hoping to swap out a few shots and put in some new ones (included gallery shows a few I’m considering).

I’ll have more details as the show approaches, but I do know that from around mid-January to mid-March you’ll be able to see my work and enjoy some pretty good food at the same time.

Don’t forget to try the donuts!

#FFWR Replay

Sorry for the lack of posts lately; we’ve been busy.

Anyhow, I have some work on display at a new show. A bunch of the artists from the recent #FFWR, Reset: Green, and Satellite shows have some work now on display at Heffner Lexus Toyota in Kitchener.

I have a couple black and white shots as well one from a new kaleidoscope series I’ve been toying with. Toyota has a Christmas Open House on December 4th and 5th so if I’ve got the time I’m going to check it out.

I leased my first new car from Heffner so I know firsthand how well they treat people. If you’re looking for a new car or some artwork, you really couldn’t go to a better place.
