The third Thursday of every month is reserved for a photography group I’m part of called Foto:RE. The basic purpose of these gatherings is to get honest and meaningful feedback of our work. No matter what stage you’re at as a photographer, we just want to get better at what we do. We each bring a photo (recent or not) and get about 5 minutes of critique from everyone. This has only been the second official meeting we’ve had, but I can tell it’s going to keep growing and getting better based on the enthusiasm alone.
Last summer Amy and I went to Greece for our honeymoon. I managed to cram my tripod into my suitcase because I wanted to try and do a time lapse of something while we were there. On our last night in Santorini we went for dinner at a restaurant overlooking the water. Luckily we got a seat in the corner so I didn’t have to be that weirdo with a tripod in a busy restaurant. Anyway, here’s the resulting video.
Starting in May, the WalterFedy office in Kitchener will be hosting an art show showcasing a number of artists from last November’s Box Art Show & Sale. Here is a sneak peek at a metal print I’ll have on display until September.
